Our Story
Lake Chelan Food Bank
The Lake Chelan Food Bank has served the Lake Chelan Valley and the surrounding communities from several different locations since 1982. In April of 2014, the food bank moved into the “Old Library” now called the Corner Stone Building that we share with Chelan Valley Hope at 417 S. Bradley Street. This location has easy access, plenty of parking, is centrally located for our residents and is ADA compliant.
The Lake Chelan Food Banks goal is to provide supplemental food products with dignity and respect, to residents in need. Each family is allowed one box, stocked with non-perishable foods such as vegetables, fruits, soups, beans, rice, cereal, and pasta. Along with that, are also given meat, produce, breads and other bakery products.
